Eligibility

What we support

The Trustees welcome grant applications from registered charities working in any of the following areas:

  • Community projects based on places of Worship
  • Other community projects
  • Work with young people
  • Vulnerable groups including: the homeless, addicts, refugees, asylum seekers, victims of crime, ex-prisoners, the bereaved, the elderly
  • Disability and special needs
  • The environment and heritage projects
  • Health and well being
  • The arts
  • Education

Cheques can be made payable only to registered charities.

The Trust normally considers requests only from organisations based within the Birmingham area (including parts of Walsall), as defined by postcode:

What we don't support

The Trust does not support requests from individuals, nor from large national charities even when based in Birmingham unless there are separate local accounts. The Bryant Trust Deed does not allow donations to animal charities.
